Working with our friends at Drool Visuals and the really talented team at Ketchum, the creative direction called for a fun mix of live action and CGI, highlighted by a fridge door cracking open like an egg, revealing a bright light and transitioning us inside and revealing a ceramic carton of eggs in each of the 3 pieces. We developed all of the 3 new refrigerator faces, crack and lighting effects, which we then composited into the live action. Shot over 3 days in Oakland, we utilized matchmoves, camera data and bracketed exposure stills, to capture the exact lighting in each location ensuring seamless replacement of the existing fridges.
